I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Troy University. I earned my Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Southern California in 2021.

​My research examines disclosure, the information environment, and how institutional and regulatory changes affect financial reporting, investor behavior, and public finance. My work has been published in Management Science, with additional research forthcoming in Accounting Horizons and several projects in progress targeting top-tier journals.

​I teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses in financial accounting and data analytics, with a focus on applied learning through real-world cases and data-driven analysis. My teaching is supported by consistently strong evaluations and a commitment to developing students’ analytical and professional skills.​​

​

​Prior to academia, I worked as a portfolio manager and investment analyst, experience that informs my research and allows me to connect accounting concepts to real-world financial decision-making.
